Andy Griffiths and Terry Denton’s new Treehouse adventure has arrived, and it’s our bestselling book of last week. The 104-Storey Treehouse features even more delightfully irreverent humour and outright silliness, and our reviewer says it guarantees hours-worth of re-reads. Read the full review here.

Three YA novels also appear on last week’s top sellers list. Hive is an atmospheric dystopian thriller from A.J. Betts and the first in a duology. Scot Gardner’s Changing Gear is the story of an impromptu road trip, which leads to an unlikely friendship and some big emotions. And The Darkest Minds is Alexandra Bracken’s much-loved dystopian novel from 2012, now available in a film tie-in edition. Fans take note: the film adaptation is due to hit Australian screens in August.

And we’re so happy to see customers snapping up copies of Shaun Tan’s new picture book, Cicada, which we absolutely adore. You can also look out for another new work from Tan later this year – Tales from the Inner City (available 26 September).
