Lamontagne Ray & The Pariah Dogs
Ray Lamontagne is an amazing storyteller, with a voice that simultaneously breaks your heart and energizes your soul.
Justin Timberlake “Music is interesting right now to me. It’s hard to look around and pick artists that you feel have a lot of staying power. Just being honest. But I think Ray LaMontagne is hot right now.”
John Mayer - “If you haven’t heard Ray LaMontagne yet, you owe it to yourself to check him out. I’ve seen him twice in the past two weeks and I can’t get over how powerful he is. He’s so pure, it’s arresting. People ask me all the time what artists I’m listening to, and what I think of certain singers or bands out there. I think Ray LaMontagne is as brilliant as any artist that has ever lived.”

Review
Dave Clarke, Music Buyer, Readings Carlton
I can’t think of an artist I eagerly anticipate a new album from more than I do from Ray Lamontagne. He is my favourite artist of the noughties. His second album Till the Sun Turns Black is my album of the decade – and all three are must-haves.
For his new record, he has ditched long-time producer Ethan Jones and gone the self-production route, recording it over just two weeks at his farm. It still has his now-trademark, raw, rustic folk-soul-blues feel, but definitely with more of a country twang to it. His songwriting is sublime and the breathy vocals still give me goosebumps.
