What book subscriptions are available at Readings?

We’re pleased to offer four different book subscriptions services: the Readings Board Book Subscription, the Readings Kids' Book Subscription, the Readings Fiction Book Subscription, and the Readings Nonfiction Book Subscription.

The Readings Board Book Subscription is the perfect welcome-to-the-world gift for ages 0 to 1, featuring 12 classic board books posted to the recipient monthly. There are two options available: a six month subscription ($140) and a 12 month subscription ($280).

The Readings Kids' Book Subscription is a wonderful way to share new release picture books with little people of ages 1 to 5. There are two options available: a six month subscription ($185) or a 11 month subscription ($340).

The Readings Fiction Book Subscription is the best way to keep up-to-date with the best of contemporary fiction. There are two options available: a six month subscription ($240) and a 11 month subscription ($440).

The Readings Nonfiction Book Subscription is the best way to keep up-to-date with the best of contemporary nonfiction. There are two options available: a six month subscription ($240) and a 11 month subscription ($440).

How do book subscriptions at Readings work?

Simply scroll to the bottom of this page to select your preferred option for each subscription, and then add to your shopping cart to purchase. The lucky recipient (or yourself!) will then receive a hand-selected, gift-wrapped book in the post each month.

If the subscription is a gift, the recipient will receive a welcome card, with the option of a personalised handwritten message. To personalise your card, please include your desired message in the ‘notes’ box on the check out page.

To receive the current month’s book, you must place your order by the first Monday of this month. Any orders placed after the first Monday will have their subscription commence in the following month.

Please note, we do not post out a book in January for our Kids, Fiction and Nonfiction Book Subscriptions.
