Shop early & shop local with Readings this festive season
Christmas is going to be different this year. With social distancing, Covid restrictions, supply chain issues, postage delays and more, we’re strongly recommending you start – and finish – your gift shopping as promptly as possible. Shop early and shop local with Readings!
Over the coming weeks, we’ll be publishing a selection of curated gift guides, sharing our picks for the best book and music of the year, and releasing our annual Summer Reading Guide, which is always jam-packed with great recommendations. We’ll also be announcing some special in-store offers in November.
If you have tricky questions, don’t hesitate to call your local shop to chat with one of our booksellers. Or, you can always email us at email@example.com and we’ll respond with a personalised recommendation. And if you’re truly stumped over what to get, we also offer gift vouchers which can be used in-store and online.
The best way to stay across all our gift ideas and offers is to sign up to our enews. You simply need to click here, pop in your email address and hit the ‘Sign up now’ button. If you’d also like to receive physical copies of our free monthly print newsletter, the Readings Monthly and our annual Summer Reading Guide, delivered to your doorstep, then please include your name and postal address.
While our shops are still closed to the public for browsing, we are offering a contactless pick-up option for customers who live within 5km of one of our shops. Find out more here. We hope to be reopening stores (safely!) in the very near future so will update our customers as soon as we know more.
You can also order online through our website. We offer a flat $6.50 postage rate anywhere in Australia on all orders under $120, with free delivery for orders over $120.
Our Christmas shipping deadline for in-stock items being shipped in Australia is Sunday 6 December. Please make sure you place your order before midnight on Sunday 6 December to guarantee delivery in time for Christmas.
2020 has been a difficult year for so many people, for so many reasons, and we are grateful to everyone who has supported us over these months. Thank you, and we hope to see you in-store or online in the lead up to Christmas.
