Shaun Tan tops our list of bestselling children’s books with his beautifully strange and evocative new work, Tales from the Inner City. This illustrated collection of stories explores human’s relationship with animals, both real and imagined, and is suitable for ages 10 through to adults.

Our bestselling YA book of last week is Jenny Han’s absolutely delightful rom-com, To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before, which has recently been adapted into a film by Netflix starring the wonderful Lana Condor. Given the film’s popularity, we only have limited stock available of this title at the moment, but don’t worry! More copies are on their way.

Also continuing to prove popular this past week are funny junior and middle fiction tales from Australian authors Aaron Blabey ( The Bad Guys Episode 8: Superbad), Anh Do and Jeremy Ley (From Nerd to Ninja, Flying Ninja!), and Andy Griffiths and Terry Denton (The 104-Storey Treehouse), as well as American author Dav Pilkey (Lord of the Fleas).
