This collection of songs reflects the organic, collaborative\nnature of the sessions, which took place at Pisapia’s Middletree\nStudios in Nashville. Many of the songs were recorded live in the\nstudio and that energy is palpable. The lead single “I Confess” is\none of three songs lang penned with keyboardist Daniel Clarke and\nJoshua Grange, who plays baritone guitar and dobro. In addition to\nthe original material, Sing it Loud includes a striking version of\nTalking Heads’ “Heaven.” Pisapia, who plays numerous instruments\nand serves as the band’s musical director, contributed the title\ntrack and co-wrote five songs with lang. Bassist Lex Price (Mindy\nSmith, Peter Bradley Adams) and drummer/percussionist Fred\nEltringham (The Wallflowers) complete the lineup.

It’s off to Nashville withK.D. and the band she haspersonally selected for thisvery laid-back, twangybunch of songs. Many ofthe tracks were recordedlive in Middletree Studios in Nashville,owned by producer Joe Pisapia. Featuringbeautiful dobro guitar by Joshua Grange andkeyboards by Daniel Clarke, K.D. is inamazing voice, as you would expect. Herversion of the Talking Heads song ‘Heaven’ istruly striking, so yes – it’s another winner foryour collection.
