Readings announces its first Readings Foundation grant recipients

Readings’ Managing Director, Mark Rubbo, has just announced four successful recipients of The Readings Foundation grants.

Rubbo says: ‘We found it extremely difficult to select the projects from such a strong list of applicants. We only wish that we had more money to award more grants.’

Readings wins Independent Book Retailer of the Year 2009

Readings Carlton has been announced as the Independent Bookseller of the Year at the 2009 Australian Book Industry Awards (ABIA). Readings represented Victoria in the shortlist that included booksellers from across Australia.
