One of our biggest sellers listed above – Go Set A Watchman – is based on pre-order sales alone, demonstrating just how deeply important a new novel by Harper Lee is and for so many readers. Her 1960 novel To Kill a Mockingbird, an undisputed classic of American literature, also appears in our top sellers and we suspect many of these purchases are for a re-read.

Don’t forget that Go Set A Watchman arrives in-store TOMORROW. Pick up a copy from any of our five shops, or order online here.

Other top sellers for the past week include three Australian books which we featured in our event program last week. Gregory Day’s novel Archipelago of Souls explores the difficult realities of nationhood, war, morality and love. Cat Thao Nguyen’s memoir We are Here is the story of her family’s journey to Australian, and her own coming of age against the backdrop of an immigrant experience. And Stephanie Bishop’s The Other Side of the World looks set to be one of the most raved-about books at Readings all year!
