Two major literary prizes were announced last week and we’re delighted to see both of the winning books in our bestsellers.

The 2016 Stella Prize was awarded to Charlotte Wood for her fifth novel, The Natural Way of Things. This story of 10 women who find them imprisoned on an isolated property in the middle of Australia is a starkly imaginative exploration of contemporary misogyny and corporate control. The 2016 Pulitzer Prize for Fiction was awarded to Viet Thanh Nguyen for his debut novel, The Sympathizer. This story of a communist spy caught between conflicting loyalties is part satire, part espionage thriller and part historical fiction. Read more here.

We’re also pleased to see last year’s Pulitzer Prize winner – Anthony Doerr’s moving historical epic All the Light We Cannot See – is also listed among out bestsellers for last week.
