Our bestselling book of last week is The Bookshop of the Broken Hearted – a poignant story from Robert Hillman set during the 1960s. We’re big fans of this novel with multiple staff naming it as one of their favourite books of the year – so far!

Other books featured in our top 10 list include funny and heartwarming reads from Andrew Sean Greer (Less), Gail Honeyman (Eleanor Oliphant is Completely Fine) and humorist David Sedaris (Calypso); a searing and urgent work of memoir from Australian writer Bri Lee (Eggshell Skull); and an updated edition of Bruce Pascoe’s groundbreaking 2014 history book (Dark Emu).

We’re excited to be hosting a special event with Pascoe in late July to raise funds for the Indigenous Literary Foundation. Find out more here.
