Our best-seller from the past week is the fantastic sophomore release from Readings’ own Miles Allinson. In Moonland is the follow-up effort to Allinson’s award-winning 2015 novel Fever of Animals. In Moonland is a multi-generational story that draws a portrait of how we cope with our mortality and position in history. Our reviewer notes, ‘things repeat themselves, but In Moonland wants to stress that they do so with difference and with real consequences’. You can read the full review here.

Other books making an appearance on our bestseller list this week include a beautiful collection of letters from First Nations fathers, sons, nephews and uncles exploring the nature of masculinity, a personal and practical guide about how to set boundaries and say ‘no’ for those suffering from their need to please those around them, and a compelling result of a long-term research project that investigated how women can live longer and healthier lives.

There’s also plenty of excitement over the release of Sally Rooney’s latest work, with both the special edition hardback and the paperback edition making their way into our best seller list prior to tomorrow’s (7 September) release! We’re pleased to be offering $5 off the RRP on the special edition hardback for a limited time, so be sure to secure your special edition release for the same price as the paperback while stock lasts.
