Our bestselling children’s book this week is Really Weird!, the eighth book in the popular WeirDo series by talented comedian/actor/painter/author Anh Do.

A Netflix series has given new life to Jay Asher’s gritty 2007 YA novel, 13 Reasons Why, which sits in second place. Popular culture shows its influence with another new bestseller, The Maddie Diaries, a teen memoir by Maddie Ziegler of Dance Moms and music video fame.

Also fresh to our bestsellers this week is The Blue Cat, an elliptical novel for young readers set in Sydney during WWII, from acclaimed Australian author Ursula Dubosarsky.

And finally we’re pleased to report our Readings Children’s Prize shortlisted books are still going strong, with Grover Finds a Home, Escape to the Moon Islands and Elizabeth and Zenobia making a showing here.
