We’re SO happy to see J.C. Jones (this year’s winner of the Readings Children’s Book Prize) at the top of our bestsellers list once again. Our judges loved Run, Pip, Run, and described it as a ‘brilliant book, perfect for boys and girls aged 9–12 and for families to read together’. You can read the full judges’ report here.

Our bestselling YA book of last week is The Bone Sparrow – Zana Fraillon’s powerful story of young refugee, born inside an Australian permanent detention centre. Fraillon was longlisted for the Guardian Children’s Fiction Prize over the weekend, and is the only Australian author included among the list of eight.
