Last week we were thrilled to help launch The 91-Storey Treehouse – the seventh book in the hugely popular Treehouse series by Andy Griffiths and Terry Denton – at a sold-out event at Melbourne Town Hall. We had a blast, and you can find some photos from our event, featuring some very excited young readers, here. We’re not surprised to see it at the top of our list of bestselling children’s and YA books this week.

Other bestselling books for young readers include three brilliant reads from Australian authors. The Bone Sparrow is a powerful imagining of the life of a Rohingyar refugee born in a detention centre, The Wayward Witch and the Feelings Monster is a sweet, funny story that encourages kindness, and A Most Magical Girl is a magical adventure into the underworld of Victorian London.

R.J. Palacio beloved story of friendship and school politics, Wonder, also appears on our list this week. Like many of you, we’re looking forward to the film adaptation, and you can watch a trailer here.
