We were delighted to have Zoë Foster Blake drop by Readings Kids over the weekend to sign copies of her brilliantly funny debut picture book, No One Likes a Fart. The story of a fart with a heart, this is our bestselling children’s book of last week and perfect for ages 2 and up.

Other bestselling picture books of last week include two titles from much-adored authors/illustrators, Oliver Jeffers and Alison Lester. Jeffers’s Here We Are is a heartfelt introduction to planet Earth, as well as a moving argument for kindness. Lester’s The Very Noisy Baby is a boisterous and action-filled tale of one very noisy baby and her big sister. Both would make gorgeous gifts for first-time parents with a new baby at home.

Looking to middle fiction, we’re pleased to see so many readers making their way to Jessica Townsend’s brilliant fantasy debut, Nevermoor: The Trials of Morrigan Crow, and Katherine Rundell’s classic adventure tale, The Explorer.
