It’s been a while since Bluey has been knocked off the top perch in our kid & YA bestsellers, and a long time too since a YA book has reigned supreme. Karen McManus’s 2017 bestselling whodunnit One Of Us Is Lying has received a boost from the publication of its equally thrilling sequel, One Of Us Is Next. It’s also delightful to see Louisa May Alcott’s timeless classic Little Women on our bestsellers, with Greta Gerwig’s big-screen adaptation encouraging new fans and old.

Other than these two notable entries, our favourite books of the summer continue to sell strongly, with no one tiring of Bruce Pascoe’s groundbreaking Young Dark Emu, graphic novel Guts or the rhyming charm of All of the Factors of Why I Love Tractors.
