Our bestseller from the past week is Bindi, a verse novel for upper primary about 11-year-old Bindi’s unordinary year; this story has been shortlisted last week for the Readings Children’s Book Prize 2021.
A number of other shortlist titles are making an appearance on our bestseller list this week including a perilous race against time in a magical Melbourne bookshop, a story about reaching for the stars in the form of an Olympic dream, and a historical middle-grade novel set on the Mornington Peninsula during the time of the Australian government’s ‘safe haven’ project.
