Applications are open for our Readings Foundation grants

As we all know, it’s been a difficult couple of years, and it’s probably fair to say that no-one has experienced lockdowns quite like Melbourne. For those organisations who support the disadvantaged and marginalised in Victoria, it’s been an incredibly challenging couple of years getting programmes out to the people and communities who need them most.

With this in mind, we’re thrilled to announce that yesterday, Wednesday 10 November, we officially begun accepting applications for our 2022 Readings Foundation grants. With $150,000 to distribute, we’re offering grants of up to $20,000 to organisations that support the development of literacy, community integration and the arts in Victoria.

Applications are now open and will close on Friday 10 December, with the recipients announced in late January, 2022. If you’d like to discuss your forthcoming application, please feel free to contact our Grants Officer, Gabrielle Williams, via email at to arrange a time to chat.

Since 2010, the Readings Foundation has awarded grants of over $1.4 million dollars to 112 Victorian organisations. If you’d like to donate to the Readings Foundation, you’ll find a link here.
