We are delighted to have Katrina Nannestad join us to discuss her writing practice and why writing books for younger readers is important, life changing work.

Katrina Nannestad is an award-winning Australian author. Her books include the CBCA-shortlisted We Are Wolves, The Girl Who Brought Mischief, The Travelling Bookshop series, historical novels including Rabbit, Soldier, Angel, Thief, Silver Linings and All the Beautiful Things, a new picture book, A Song for the King and many more.

Nannestad's The Story Writer's Handbook: Adventures in Creative Writing is a playful yet practical guide to creating your own stories.
