Born in London to an Austrian mother and Sri Lankan father, Peter Kuruvita spent much of his childhood in Sri Lanka before moving to Australia as a teenager. This rich blend of cultures has influenced Kuruvita throughout his career as a chef, restaurateur, author and TV presenter. In his latest cookbook, Lands of the Curry Leaf, he celebrates vegetables and their growing prominence at our tables.
