This is the fifth studio release from Adelaide-born Sia. She’s renowned for her previous involvement with electronic duo Zero 7 (as guest vocalist), as well as her gorgeous single ‘Breathe Me’ which featured on the final episode and scene of the HBO TV series Six Feet Under.

A departure from her down-tempo work of the past, We Are Born is a bold and energetic pop album, which clearly exhibits her vocal diversity and talent. It’s a very fun, upbeat listen, featuring an endearing cover of Madonna’s 1989 song ‘Oh Father’.
