The Party Ain't Over by Wanda Jackson

A brand new album from the original queen of rockabilly, featuring covers of artists like Bob Dylan, Eddie Cochran, Jimmie Rodgers – and even Amy Winehouse. Produced by Jack White, it has his musical fingerprints all over it, making it more of a rock than a rockabilly album. Wanda’s voice is, for the most part, in fine form too: at 73 years of age, she can still rip it up like it was 1956. And while this album may not be the ideal starting point for the uninitiated, it still has its merits.
