After an action-packed, Indiana Jones style ending to the first book The Billionaire’s Curse, Gerald, Ruby and Sam are back and holidaying in India.

But of course, it’s never just a holiday and before they know it the trio are running through markets and rummaging through stalls on a quest to outwit a deadly cult and to try and stop the once-again present Mason Green from getting to the Emerald Casket.

Even with its fast-paced tempo, Newsome still manages to incorporate the wonders of India, giving young readers a taste of a beautiful country and a different culture.
