This is a fabulous story. It’s about a very imaginative girl called Alice Makin and a boy called Reggie who is new to the school and becomes her friend.

There’s also a mean step-dad and her real father who is supposedly dead. A wonderful plot unfolds when she finds out more about her mysterious father and her friend Reggie.

There were also some funny parts and I found this book very entertaining.
