This sophomore album really hits the pop spot! After much success with her first album, One of the Boys, it was always going to be interesting to see if Perry could do it all over again. And much to my delight, she has!

‘California Gurls’ is the second single from the album, and to date has already sold over three million copies in the US. ‘Circle the Drain’ (cue a bit of pop rock) would have to be my favourite, but parents be warned, there is some swearing.

The album is great fun with sunny beats, mixed with Perry’s perfect-for-pop voice that will certainly keep fans happy.
