Stacie likes bags, shoes, flying and driving, so it’s lucky she has her awesome Luxury Lady Helicopter to ride around in! Yes, it’s a pink flowery helicopter with comfy seats, but it also has rotor blades and an extendable rope ladder (important for those risky sea rescues). I love author/illustrator Jessica Spanyol’s bright and busy cartoon illustrations, with lots of tranport-loving bugs and dozens of transport noises and phrases to yell out (‘Wheee! Whirr! Great landing! Rope ladder ready!’).

Girls like transport and vehicles too, so it’s very nice to see that they are being catered for in the latest MiniBug books, that include this title, and Jo Jo And Her Flower Roadboat, Pauline And The Girls and their Playtime Truck, and The Triplets And Their Little Animal Cars.
