It’s been five years sincePaul Simon released anall-new album, and – thankgoodness – it’s been worththe wait. It featureswonderful infectiousorchestration and mischievous lyrics: all theelements that were so enjoyable back in thetime of the Graceland album. It’s been agessince I’ve heard songs with such intricatelayering of instruments, with words thattouch on the everyday, expressed withsarcasm and wit. Top it off with greatrollicking choruses, and this is a must-have.
