Prom Nights From Hell: Stephenie Meyer, Meg Cabot, Kim Harrison, Michele Jaffe, Lauren Myracle

When I was asked to choose a book to review this time around I was not sure what book I should pick, they all looked so good! I ended up choosing Prom Nights from Hell by Meg Cabot, Kim Harrison, Michele Jaffe, Stephenie Meyer and Lauren Myracle. It was the right choice!

The book is a compilation of short stories about - you guessed it - prom nights from hell. All of the stories are addictive yet satisfying. Meg Cabot wrote about a demon hunter whose mother had been turned into a vampire; Kim Harrison’s story was based on an Asian proverb telling you to be careful what you wish for; Michelle Jaffe has a very distinctive writing style and her short story was no exception! It was about a girl with superpowers who had a blank memory. Very good! Stephenie Meyer writes about angels and demons at prom, definitely not a letdown - even in short stories she amazes us! Last but not least, Lauren Myracle’s story is a sneak preview to her upcoming book. I can tell you, as soon as it comes out I’ll be first in line to get it! All in all it was a beautifully written book and is well worth a read even if you’re not a fan of short stories.

Two thumbs up! I give Prom Nights From Hell 8 out of 10, as I’m one of those annoying people that want books to go on forever!
