Lovingly recorded by Antony Walker, conducting the Orchestra of the Anipodes, he has the choir Cantillation lending their beautiful blended tone to Monzart’s Requiem. Also included are Mozart’s Ave, verum Corpus and his Sancta Maria, mater Dei, with his* Exsultate, jubilate* originally for castrato, here by Sara Macliver. Featuring only Australasian musicians with period instruments, this recording shows that Australian musicians are capable of competing with the best in the world.
