Decca have done it again. They’ve got a massive selection (many of which are available in our September 2011 Box Set Sale) of Complete Orchestral works in 4 or 5 CD box sets of major composers with brilliant musicians. I mean, how can you go wrong?

The Mendelssohn Complete Symphonies box set features the Vienna Philharmonic in the late 1970s under the esteemed composer conductor Christoph von Dohnanyi. Although mostly recognized for his contribution to the Cleveland Orchestra, these recordings are enjoyable and a brilliant way to introduce yourself to the Romantic Mozart.
