Kris Drever, a singer–songwriter from the Isle of Orkney, has played rock and jazz as well as traditional music, in bands like Fine Friday and Lau. Lately he has been making waves as a solo performer.

Drever’s laid-back singing, deft guitarwork and fine songwriting are all here, in the fine company of Ian Carr (guitar), Tim O’Brien (bouzouki), John McCusker (fiddle), Phil Cunningham (accordion) and Heidi Talbot, who sings on a very good version of the old ballad ‘Banks of the Nile’.
