In this book Emily, aged 13, dressed in a simple black dress, goes on adventure after adventure to find her mom.

There is nothing typical about this book and you can never tell what’s going to happen next.

I really enjoyed reading about Emily because everything is in her opinion and she makes you wonder if there’s anything anyone can’t do, or if it’s just that we just choose not to.
