Originally released in 1991, this recording has finally been re-released on Savall’s own label. Long considered to be one of the great, if not the greatest, interpretation of the Brandenburg Concertos, I think anyone who takes the time to listen to these performances will agree there is definitely merit in such claims.

Under the masterful direction of Jordi Savall, Le Concert de Nations delivers a stunning reading of each concerto, with standout playing from Fabio Biondi and Pierre Hantai. Beautifully repackaged in a 2-CD digipack with an excellent booklet.
