The difficult second album syndrome does not apply in this case. Rebecca Barnard has penned captivating lyrics and delivered them with thoughtful arrangements and lovely vocals. She recorded this album in New York with the help of Barney McAll, a talented producer, arranger, pianist, guitarist and long-time friend of Barnard. The talent of these two just shines with this wonderful recording, and they simply capture and unite the moment in a very profound way.
