Shade, the hood wunderkind from She’s His Drug, He’s Her Thug 3, is back in his own story!

Joshua Shade Green walks an ethically gray line, trying to keep a promise to his deceased grandparents to get his younger sisters out the hood, while at the same time doing whatever it takes to get by.

But his efforts at simple day-to-day-survival are hampered by two things. First, he finds himself caught in the middle of an escalating war between two rival drug dealers. In addition, he is doggedly pursued by a relentless detective, who suspects Shade of being involved in a recent triple-homicide.

Further complicating matters is his budding relationship with exotically beautiful Yoni, the new girl on the block. She’s ride or die, and together she and Shade must navigate treacherous waters if they are to see another day. But Yoni also has a blockbuster secret of her own and a personal agenda that Shade is completely oblivious to. And when the truth comes to light, their love may not survive - even if they do.
