Originally published in Swedish before being translated into English, this irresistible chapter book explores Dani’s first year of school, with all its challenges and experiences. Children will easily identify with the anxiety of the unknown, the joy of a first real friendship (and its inevitable conundrums) and the delight in sharing. Even loss and sadness in Dani’s world are worked through in a positive way.
