Entering the Variable Dimension

Following a tragic event in his childhood, Michael Carlson, a Stanford Graduate Student in 2004, devotes all of his college studies to discovering the science behind time travel. Despite having little support from his friends and colleagues, Carlson believes he will be the first person to discover time travel, right up until a mysterious man, by the name of Harvey Wells, breaks Carlson's entire reality when he reveals to Michael that he is not the first person to discover time travel. Wells is from the future, & a former agent of a corrupt government organization dedicated to the protection & concealment of time travel. Wells is fleeing that agency, and the only way for him to escape is by joining with Carlson to make their own time vehicle, and start a pursuit through time.
