In Hazel's Horse Adventure, 11-year-old Hazel finds out that she can't go to her best friend's birthday party. Even though she loves visiting her grandpa and his chickens and goats, she is sad that her summer plans will take her away from home and to Grandpa's farm in Virginia. Once there, she stumbles upon a horse lost in the woods. She, and her brother, Henry, work together to help the horse to safety. But it isn't as easy as it sounds! From thunderstorms to barking dogs to angry parents, Hazel and Henry will need to figure out a way to rescue the horse and avoid trouble.
