Prethink

PRETHINK is a book of worthwhile medium-sized ideas, each of which matter-of-factly explains a slice of the order and disorder in everyone's, everyday life. Prethink is the collection of ideas we know and use to figure out the everyday, in real time. The more ideas we know, the better. Good ideas can get you ahead of your current events. You don't need logic or complete information to utilize an idea. Thinking about things afterwards, using logic and information, is post-think.

This book is not about teaching anyone how to think, nor is it a discussion of thinking. It is simply a collection of ideas.

There is plenty of humor in Prethink, but all the ideas are useful and have real substance.

Strong ideas which are both reliable and reusable are known as concepts. This is a book of such ideas. Many of the concepts are original. The others are the best of the best of other people's useful medium-sized ideas.
