Birdie is a happy, helpful, little bee. She lives in a fabulous beehive in a beautiful garden full of pink and yellow wild roses. The yellow wild roses are kind and share their nectar, but the pink wild roses are selfish and refuse to share their nectar. After a big storm destroys the garden, the yellow wild roses can stand up strongly. The pink wild roses, however, lay on the ground unable to lift their heads. They call out for Birdie's help. Birdie quickly devises a plan. With the help of the yellow wild roses and her adorable bee family they set out to help the wild pink roses. The garden soon realizes they will have to work together in order to survive.

Children will fall in love with the adorable bee named Birdie as she demonstrates the importance of good character. This visually stimulating book takes children on an adventure while showing the need to be kind, helpful, forgiving, thankful, and even humble.
