Paris in Black

Paris: mecca for expats, misfits and goods and people on the run. American expat Jeremy Winters calls it his home and now intends to help Albanian refugee Ghensie do the same, though he must foil the hounds that pursue her. It's 1990 and Eastern Europeans-both those who are well-intentioned and those who are not-are fleeing failed communism to flood the West. Jeremy is used to working in the shadows of the City of Light. His above-the-table job is barman in a jazz club, while his under-the-table work is with the French Security services, for whom he does "little jobs," such as infiltrating counterfeit passport rings. Now he must go even further "under" in the black-market world. And Paris is oh so Black!
