As Jesus was speaking with His disciples one day, He asked them, "Whom do men say that I, the Son of man, am?" After His disciples mentioned the names of some of the great prophets of old, Jesus rephrased the question and asked them who they thought He was. Peter told Jesus that (He) the Son of man was the Son of God. As you can see, Peter did not elaborate on what it meant for Jesus to be a man. Yet, Jesus approved of this answer. But this raises several questions. Was Jesus only curious to know if they saw Him as the Son of God? He specifically asked what people were saying about the Son of man. Why didn't Jesus pursue that subject? Is it enough to just be satisfied with the knowledge that Jesus had a dual nature? Certainly not. It is only logical to want to understand more about this very unusual man. This book, written by the accomplished author Dr. Ken Stewart, thoroughly discusses the dual nature of Jesus. But there is much more to know about this man called Jesus. In this first volume of a two-volume set, Dr. Stewart describes numerous relationships Jesus had, and they vary both in type and in depth. These relationships provide a window into the life of the greatest man ever to live. As the reader gains a greater understanding of these relationship they will also discover that the experiences of the Son of man shine a bright light on all human relationships. Dr. Stewart is known for integrating the spiritual and practical aspects of life. As one might expect, this book certainly follows that pattern. His reliable teaching of the Word of God has earned Dr. Stewart a solid reputation as a trusted and respected author and minister. Accordingly, this book is an excellent resource for every student of the Word of God.
