Did their "Indiana Jones" uncle score a treasure seeker's dream shortly before his "accidental" death? A lot of people with dollar signs in their eyes believe that he did.

Greedy family members, unprincipled treasure hunters, and even a few hopeful locals search for the map they believe Bryn's Uncle Wade must have left behind. And he did leave a map, right where he knew someone might look. It was a prank from the grave-because the map was a fake. He also left some cryptic clues that only Bryn and her Canadian cousin Ellie could decipher.

Bryn and Ellie want to honor their dead uncle's legacy by fulfilling his dream. Although Ellie suffers from "fear of caves," the two set off in Bryn's sailboat along with Bryn's friend Logan to find the Aztek gold they believe is buried in a cave in the Canadian wilderness. Unfortunately, Bryn's cat Macavity has sneaked aboard, and some determined and unscrupulous treasure hunters are tracking them.

Their trip up Canada's Inside Passage is filled with frustrations, mystery and danger and ends with revealed secrets, betrayal, and a confession. Their uncle's legacy is secured and his death avenged.
