Luc has his job and visits from his favorite nephew. He has a few friends, but in general, no one wants to get close to him. All they see is his job. He's more than his role as Lucifer, ruler of Netherworld, but it keeps people at arm's length. After being alone for centuries, he fears that the Fates may have forgotten him when they were pairing mates. To be fair, he certainly doesn't give many opportunities for his mate to appear, given that he never leaves his realm.
