My First Book of O'Odham Nunumilo / Numbers

This colorful board book presents numbers in both the English and O'odham language. The numbers and words are presented in both languages with clear, vibrant images that would be familiar to early language learners. Each number also has a simple sentence to introduce English and O'odham language structure. Each number has a corresponding set of images to support the number. Many of the various images are familiar to O'odham culture to promote usage of the words at home, in the community, or in school. The board book also has a glossary at the end for quick reference. There is a QR code link that directs visitors to a webpage with the pronunciations of the words, numbers and sentences found in the board book.
