It's the year 1912, and Amelia Bergin finds herself in despair in the small mining town of Telluride, Colorado. For Amelia, it's not just about having a simple yet challenging life. She desires experiences and adventures that can lift her from the reality that she despises.

But with the death of her father and a fading marriage, she struggles to accept the hardships that comes with her life as it is. After contemplating her own death on a restless fall night, she encounters a cabin and a stranger deep in the rugged mountains that causes a detour in her plans.
