Being a single mother is hard enough without murderous Fae in your living room.

The only things that American folklorist, Maura Robinson, wanted from her contentious divorce was custody of her two young children-and an Irish castle. She ends up with her ex's teenage kids, plumbing problems... and an unexpected doorway from the Fae world.

First there are horned women spinning and carding in Maura's living room, demanding the blood of her children. Then she gets an extra child to raise, along with a deer who spirits Maura back to the third century (accidentally). A patchwork man plucks her kindergartener out of her tree fort-into a world that definitely didn't exist yesterday-and the teens run off to save her.
