End of This Epoch

Every galactic year (250 million Earth-years), this planet hosts an epoch of human life (around 10,000 years). After meddling and exploitation reaches its limit, animal life is scoured from the sphere, so Earth can recover for a later epoch of animal onslaught. There aren't many planets like Earth in all of the universe. It cannot be lost to a marauding species of highly destructive animals. If left unchecked, humans would reduce this planet to a burned-out cinder. Very soon, we will reach the end of this epoch.

End of This Epoch's account of Earth's purpose sounds dire. But what happens to a species, or even whole planets, takes place independent of individuals. Choosing this particular era, we voluntarily selected all the circumstances with which we live. Our human experience is solely for personal benefit and not to fulfill some grand purpose. It may be full and enjoyable, regardless of what happens around us.

Each of us has potential to build one-of-a-kind value. Those sought after precious gems make worthwhile all of the work in maintaining this planet for repeated human epochs.

We have all been raised with a steered perception. Histories of fabricated and embellished past events, in which we are taught, seldom resemble reality. Writers and keepers of "histories" exploit material advantage from how they are told.

This book restates history, more as to how it really happened and not a twisted convoluted fiction. It will be very different than what you have been taught. End of This Epoch departs from myth, legend, superstition and miracles, commonly indoctrinated into us by both organized and science religions.
