Is love enough to conquer the fear of failure?

Michelle is completely inexperienced in love and boys. Her older brother, Jeff, spent most of her high school years blocking any chance of relationships. When Michelle meets Danny, she is terrified of the idea of going on a date, but Danny is persuasive and she finds herself in a relationship where she does not know what to do. Michelle also finds herself an enemy of Vicki, who was involved in the kidnapping of her roommate, Hannah.

Danny is a former high school football star. Despite his many girlfriends, he finds himself drawn to Michelle, a girl who differs from anyone he has ever gone out with before. Danny has lived his life trying to always be perfect, and he wonders why it is such a struggle to convince Michelle to build a relationship with him.

While listening in on a conversation between Vicki and a suspicious individual named Brandi, Michelle discovers their scheme to steal from a student on campus. Her spying leads her to be entangled in their evil plan, and because Danny has fallen for her, he gets drawn in when their scheme unravels.
