Killing Me Slowly

The author shares a fictional account of an abusive narcissistic relationship, told from the viewpoint of a woman who calls herself, Mrs. Anonymous. Mrs. Anonymous, after two decades of dealing with a narcissistic husband, finally gets the courage to escape a horrible existence. Mister, a man who chased after her for over a decade before she acquiesced and married him, ultimately walks out after trying to devastate her financially, socially, emotionally, psychologically, and mentally. Less than a year into the marriage, Mrs. Anonymous realized marrying Mister was the mistake of her life. She shares her story as a cautionary tale to warn other women (and some men) about this type of demonic spirit that exists in the body of people who appear otherwise as 'normal'.
